She was famous for her character Jane Kerkovich-Williams in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings, Denise "Jo" Mahoney in the final two seasons of the medical comedy-drama Scrubs as well as her lead role as Tiger on the Hulu comedy series Future Man, and her regular role as Hannah Wyland in Quantico. She was a part of the Fox comedy Pivoting in 2022. She most recently was an actor in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who Killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. She toured France in 2003 as one of the soldiers in an all-female King Lear version. Her one-woman sketch show, The Patriots, premiered in the New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5th in 2005. The show was awarded the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was engaged to actor instructor and puppeteer Randall Whittinghill from December 2007 until June 2013.She announced her engagement to Darin Olien, the co-founder of SuperLife, a lifestyle brand SuperLife on Instagram on the 27th of November 2014. While holidaying in New Zealand, they were married December 24, 2014. They filed for divorce on the 24th of December 2014. From April 2011 to May 2013 Coupe was a part of the ABC ensemble comedy show Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. The show was canceled by ABC on May 3, 2013 even though it received acclaim from critics. The show also earned an unofficial following. After the cancellation of Happy Endings she was a regular character in the final season of House of Lies and starred alongside Jay Harrington in the USA Network comedy series Benched, which premiered on October 28th, 2014. Then she appeared on the ABC thriller Quantico playing the recurring role as FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
